Omarosa warns Trump is going through a 'psychotic episode' and that he might try to PARDON himself at DC rally on January 6 when Congress certifies the election results

Former White House communications director Omarosa Manigault Newman says President Donald Trump is going through a 'psychotic episode' after losing the presidential election.

'I think Donald Trump is going through a psychotic episode. I think that he has come to terms with his loss, but his arrogance, his ego will not allow him to accept that he is not going to be president come January,' she said to MSNBC’s Alex Witt Saturday.

Manigault Newman, who was a contestant on Trump's reality show The Apprentice, spent a year in the White House and was fired in December 2017, leading her to write a tell-all book call Unhinged.

In the Saturday interview Manigault Newman spoke on an Axios report that claimed Trump is venting his outrage on those close to his office including Vice President Mike Pence and Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

'I really feel bad for those who are left because the reality is that Donald is going to turn to turn to anyone and blame everyone for his loss except for himself and the only ones left now are Mike Pence and Mark Meadows,' she said.

'Vice President Pence is going to be on the receiving end of Donald Trump’s wrath – and it’s erratic, it’s intense and at many times it makes absolutely no sense,' she added.

Trump has reportedly been imploring Pence to prevent the ratification of Biden’s victory when he presides over the January 6 joint Congress session to certify the election.

Legal experts say Pence has no authority to prevent the certification from happening. According to the Constitution, Pence will be in charge of opening all certificates and from there the votes shall be counted, meaning his role is mostly ceremonial.

'He probably sat [in the Oval office] and made a case to Vice President Pence and the more Pence pushes back, the louder Trump gets, the crazier he gets with his requests and then when he gets mad he just kicks you out and just stops speaking with you,' Manigault Newman said.

When asked if anyone can stop Trump’s antics, she said no one can.

'Donald needs to realize it’s over for him. And this is the first time in his life when he’s not able to buy himself out of a situation, lie himself out of a situation, manipulate himself out of a situation,' she said.

Host Witt played a clip of Trump's speech refusing to accept Congress' $900million COVID relief bill where he said he may remain in office.

Manigault Newman said Trump’s speech reminded her of how he acted on The Apprentice because he’s 'trying to produce a moment' to change the results.

'But this is not The Apprentice, this is not a reality show. The American people need true leadership, not a reality TV host, which Donald Trump is reverting to,' she said.

Now Trump is planning for a DC rally on January 6, the day Congress will certify the election results.

When asked what she suspect Trump will do, she said: 'I think Donald Trump is going to seize this moment to make it all about himself...He will use this moment to announce his presidency. Maybe he will use this moment to pardon himself'

'But Donald Trump will make it the Donald Trump show instead of allowing president-elect Joe Biden to really savor in the moment,' she added.

Since leaving the White House Manigault Newman has become a personal adviser to Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen.
