VIDEO: Uber passengers livestream 'nightmare' ride when driver chases car after rear-end collision

Two Uber passengers broadcast a "nightmare ride" when their driver took off to chase after another car that had hit him and tried to escape.
John Murray and Tameka Swann said they were on their way to a night on the town in Richmond, Virginia, when the harrowing incident occurred.
They said another car ran into the Uber vehicle right after they pulled away from the curb.
"Our Uber attempted to pull over so that they exchange information, but the car didn't stop behind us. They went around us and sped off and that's when our Uber sped off behind him," Swann said.
Murray decided to livestream the chase when the driver refused to pull over and let them out.
The video shows the alarming view from the backseat as the vehicle raced through the streets of Richmond.
At one point the driver dialed 911 on his cellphone and handed it to Swann.
"The driver won't let us out. He's trying to catch the guy because he hit us," Swann can be heard telling the dispatcher.
Eventually, the driver got into another accident, and stopped to let the couple out. They said they suffered some bruising.
Uber said in a statement that they were investigating the incident and that the driver's access to the application was removed while the investigation continues.
"That was the scariest moment of my life," Swann said. "I have never been that scared in my life. It was a nightmare."

Here's the video from the nightmare ride:
