Tucker Carlson And Don Lemon Hire The Same Attorney After Both Were Fired: Report

 Former Fox News host Tucker Carlson and former CNN co-host Don Lemon reportedly hired the same attorney to represent them after they were both fired from their respective former employers on Monday.

Forbes reported that the two former cable news hosts hired high-powered entertainment lawyer Bryan Freedman, who is known for representing A-list clients, to represent them.

Freedman has worked with top talent, including film director Quentin Tarantino, actress Gabrielle Union, Megyn Kelly, “Bachelor” host Chris Harrison, former stockbroker Jordan Belfort, Michael Jackson’s estate, and more.

The news of Carlson’s firing broke Monday morning, sending shockwaves throughout the media after he dominated the network’s ratings in recent years.

“FOX News Media and Tucker Carlson have agreed to part ways,” Fox News said in statement. “We thank him for his service to the network as a host and prior to that as a contributor.”

“Mr. Carlson’s last program was Friday April 21st” the statement continued. “Fox News Tonight will air live at 8 PM/ET starting this evening as an interim show helmed by rotating FOX News personalities until a new host is named.”

Lemon’s ouster at CNN came a short time later when Lemon made the announcement on social media.

Lemon claimed in a statement that his agent informed him that he had been terminated, adding: “After 17 years at CNN I would have thought that someone in management would have had the decency to tell me directly.”

“At no time was I ever given any indication that I would not be able to continue to do the work I have loved at the network,” he continued. “It is clear that there are some larger issues at play. With that said, I want to thank my colleagues and the many teams I have worked with for an incredible run.”

“They are the most talented journalists in the business, and I wish them all the best,” he added.

The network quickly disputed Lemon’s version of events, saying that they invited him in for a meeting and he declined to attend.

“Don Lemon’s statement about this morning’s events is inaccurate,” CNN Communications said in a statement. “He was offered an opportunity to meet with management but instead released a statement on Twitter.”
