Being an artist can be a real struggle. It’s a risky career path that can see you being dirt poor for a long time, until you finally get your big break. For most though, their big break never comes. It’s just the way things work. Not everyone can be a world-renowned artist. Many artists who are truly dedicated to pursuing it as a career will spend most of their life making a modest living.
